SaaS WordPress Themes – my Top 5 Picks
Note: I may earn a commission if you purchase a template mentioned in this article. That helps me produce free content like this one.
If you are planning to start a SaaS business, you will certainly need a website for it. You will need a nice-looking landing page that will convert its visitors into paying customers. And in case you are considering using the WordPress CMS for it, you can read this article. Because I will briefly list and review my selection of the best WordPress themes for SaaS businesses in it.
The selection of these SaaS WordPress templates is based on my own personal preferences and research that I have done. Here we go with my list:
1. Divi Theme
The first SaaS WordPress theme that I’m going to recommend in this article on my blog will be the Divi theme. Divi is my favorite WordPress theme, and it is not just a theme but a page builder as well. Using it, you can create virtually any great-looking landing page for a startup.
Also, Divi comes with over 2,000 free pre-made templates that you can choose from. Below you can see screenshots of some of the top ones of them that I have picked. Moreover, you can use the Divi feature Divi Quick Sites, using which you can completely build your whole website with AI with just a few clicks.
And in case you need even more, you can check out the Elegant Themes Marketplace for even more Divi layouts and templates from the Divi community creators. Here I have picked for you some of them that might be suitable as SaaS landing page templates (they are sold as paid addons, though).
Furthermore, since the release of Divi 5 in February, the Elegant Themes team has been rapidly shipping many new and impressive features. They have also released many new modules for various functions. Personally, I’m a big fan of them. And I have been using the Divi theme happily since 2014.
2. SaaS WordPress Themes from ThemeForest
*Please note that if you want to use one of the following WordPress templates from my list from Theme Forest for a real startup in which end users can be charged for, you will need to buy an Extended License, which is more expensive.
A. Lexend – Software, SaaS & Startup WordPress Theme
B. Sway – Multi-Purpose WordPress Theme
C. Gigas – Software Startup, SaaS WordPress Theme
D. Stratus – App, SaaS & Software Startup Tech Theme
If you are looking for more, you can try searching ThemeForest yourself for some more SaaS WordPress themes and choose one of them. There are more than just these few in my list.
3. SaaS NextJS Boilerplates (WordPress Alternative)
In case you are open to different platforms than just WordPress for your SaaS, you might like to consider using one of the following two SaaS Next.js startup boilerplates. The main advantage of them is that it should be the easiest way for you to launch your startup, and you would save a lot of time as well. Because these platforms already come integrated with most things that you will need for your landing page and the whole website. By these I mean the payments, emails, UI kit, etc. For example, you can easily integrate them with Stripe and/or Lemon Squeezy in order to process your payments. Also, using a SaaS boilerplate is most likely the cheapest option for launching a SaaS business.
A. Shipped
The first startup boilerplate on my list is Shipped by Luca Restagno, an Italian SaaS indie hacker. Luca is a friendly guy who loves creating SaaS. He has launched 5 startups so far, Shipped being one of them. I believe it is a great product, and I would definitely use it if I weren’t a WordPress guy.
B. ShipFast
The second SaaS boilerplate service on my list is ShipFast, run by Marc Lou, a French solopreneur and YouTuber living in Bali. This service is definitely another great alternative to building your SaaS landing page with WordPress.
Conclusion
I hope you will be able to pick the favorite and ideal solution for your startup. SaaS businesses are booming nowadays, even more so with AI, and there are many new ones being launched daily across the globe. I believe that with the correct tech stack, like one of those mentioned in this article, you will be able to create a successful business.
