How to Install Divi Theme
In this article, I will explain step-by-step how to install the Divi WordPress theme.
First of all you will need to download a Divi theme copy from your ElegantThemes account. I suppose you already have an ET account. If not, you can get one here. So just log into your Elegant Themes account and download the Divi Theme package. You should now have a Divi .zip file that has around 15 MB.
Now log into your WordPress admin panel and navigate to Appearance > Themes and click the “Add New” button at the top. Then click “Upload Theme” and upload the Divi.zip file (you do not need to extract it). Click “Install Now” and then click “Activate” to activate it. Voila, you have successfully installed Divi on your website. That’s it for this tutorial.
If this doesn’t work for you, you can also upload the Divi files via FTP (I use FileZilla) to your wp-content/themes/ folder. However, you will first need to extract the ZIP file and then upload all files.
