Divi Theme Alternative – Genesis Framework
I’m a big fan of Divi and am really not planning to stop using it anytime soon. However, I think this does not mean that I couldn’t write about other themes. And today I have decided to write a little about the Genesis Framework. If you are not satisfied with Divi for any reason, in my opinion, the Genesis Framework is the #1 Divi theme alternative. You can get it for $59.95 from StudioPress. Now I will try to review this premium WordPress theme, but just very briefly.
First of all, I must say that the Genesis Framework can be further customized with other Genesis child themes that you can purchase from StudioPress. For example, if you know the entrepreneur Pat Flynn, you should be familiar with the Smart Passive Income Pro Theme, as it’s actually the layout that he has been using on his own website (SmartPassiveIncome.com, but he is using a different theme now). Or another popular child theme for the Genesis Framweork is called Metro Pro. I’m sure you have already seen it somewhere. Many bloggers are using it.
You can see on the image above how the Genesis Framework looks like at its basis (without a child theme). Overall, I think it looks pretty nice, clean and simple. It is minimalist and is responsive, too. In the theme’s backend (Theme Settings) you have many options. Among other settings, you can choose the layout of your website: right sidebar, left sidebar or full width.
Lastly, I’d like to say that are some other Divi theme alternatives as well. For example the very well known theme called Avada from ThemeForest. I’m sure you have already heard about this one. Or you might like another popular one from ThemeForest, the X Theme.
And if you still want to use the Divi Builder, but are looking for something different than the Divi theme, you might like to check out the Extra theme. It is included within the Elegant Themes membership.
